Terms of Use Privacy Disclaimer
For those who have arrived here via an FAQ link from a legal warning page and are reading this, then our servers have detected suspicious activity and you have violated the terms of service of a website that is part of the JV (John Ventures) Digital Media Network. The detection method is 100% accurate.
Violations can include hacking, brute force password attempts, copyright violations, site ripping, malicious site spidering and leeching, feed scraping and use of mass downloading software, excessive spamming, amongst others. All of these instances are met with a site wide instant IP permanent ban/block which is non reversible and non negotiable.
Remedies available to you.
1. Request an IP change from your ISP
Remedies available to us 1. First stage violation is an IP block/ban which is permanent and a 24/7 server monitoring of that IP for further activity. 2. Repeated violation will result in further IP blocks and indefinite multiple future IP blocking/banning and monitoring of those IP's for further violation activity 24/7 by our servers. 3. A countrywide IP block may be instigated in extreme cases and an online IP Black List notification filed with the relevant online IP Black Listing Authorities and Organisations. 4. Second stage repeated violation will result in the ISP being traced and a report filed to your ISP identifyiing the IP(s) and activity taking place. This may result in suspension or disconnection of your service and possible loss of your internet access on a permanent basis with that provider and a non refunding of any advance payments. Other costs may also arise and a possible ISP black listing could be the outcome. 5. If you are the owner of a website and are using JV Digital Media Copyrighted website material, we will inform your hosting company of the violation and request for the material to be either removed or in more serious cases for the site to be taken down and for your hosting service to be terminated, according to your hosting providers terms of service. A non refunding of any advance payments is also the probable outcome from your hosting provider. 6. Filing a report to the DMCA in support of any violations is another course of action and maybe combined with any of the other remedies in this list.. 7. Further repeated and more serious violations will leave JV (John Ventures) Digital Media with no option but to report the offence to the authorities and take legal action via our legal representatives for which you would be wise to seek legal advice and obtain financial assistance.
